Te Tiriti o Waitangi (The Treaty of Waitangi) is Aotearoa New Zealand’s founding document. It’s ongoing purpose is to forge and maintain productive relationships between Māori and Tauiwi (non-Māori people). As migrants, we believe it is our responsibility to understand this and become allies. As economically disadvantaged and discriminated against groups, it is beneficial and positive for Māori and Migrants to work together.

To help with this commitment, we are able to pay the fee for Te Tiriti workshops taught by Groundwork, Tangata Tiriti – Treaty People, and other similar organisations.
